From November to April, we run three Summer Sea Safaris daily of 2 hours departing 9:30am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm. From May to October we run Winter Whale Safaris of 3 hours departing 9:30am and 1:30pm.
If the safari was not to your satisfaction or while the whales are in town you did not see a whale, you are invited back as our guest free of charge for another safari.
Bring a sense of fun and adventure. Don’t forget your camera as the sights are spectacular, especially the old Cheynes II Whale Chaser and around Mistaken Island.

If anything, for example the weather stops us from going on the tour, you can defer your trip to another available time, or choose to receive a full refund.
Our boat is the “Young Salty Dog”, a twin hull catamaran and an ex Sea Rescue vessel that holds up to 12 passengers. All people are counted as passengers, including infants up to 4 years of age which are FREE.
There is a porta-potty toilet on board the boat. Toilets are also available at the Haz Beanz Cafe at the Marina where we depart from.
The Winter Whale Safari around King George Sound is 3 hours and operates from May to October and the 2 Hour Summer Sea Safari is 2 hours and operates from November to April.
Parking is available at the Albany Marina located at 1 Toll Place Albany which is also where we depart from.
